Mountain Run IV

OK, here’s the plan for SATURDAY November 19. For those of us who want to meet in Atlanta and caravan up, we’re going to meet at the same Denny’s we met at last time, no later than 6:30. The train pulls out at 6:30! Denny’s is at 5534 Jimmy Carter Blvd (Norcross), which is just off of the exit from I-85 to the east.

For those who want to or need to blow past Denny’s or are coming from the north...We’ll regroup for breakfast at 8:30 at a place in Clayton, GA called The Cookie Jar. Please consult your map or mapquest for directions to Clayton, GA if coming from somewhere other than Atlanta.

The Cookie Jar is in a small strip of stores on right (east) side of road and is set back a little. There’s a bank across the street.

Cookie Jar Cafe
621 Highway 441 South Suite 1
Clayton, GA 30525
706-782-6810

If you want to skip breakfast, please try to arrive at the cookie jar no later than 9:15. I expect we’ll stop for lunch again in either Helen or Dahlonega before we head our separate ways (probably Dahlonega)

DRIVER’s RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Have fun, drive safe and within the limits of the law, your car, and your skill.
2) Ensure your car is in safe, reliable condition. This day is not intended so that others can be your AAA.
3) Know the Course. These directions are not intended to be read en-route, but rather so that you can study and annotate your own map prior to the event and know in some detail where we are going. Depending on group size, separation of the pack is likely, and so everyone needs to know where they are going. We’ll stop along the way and regroup as needed.
4) Bring walkie-talkie if possible
5) Bring Cell phone if possible.
See 3!

If you're new to this and want to join us, Feel free to email me directly from here...Hope to see you there.
