That isn't entirely true. I finally found some left at an AutoValue parts store, they had five quarts of 0w40 left and wanted to charge me $6.92/quart. At nearly $7 a quart I told them where they could stick it. I drug myself into a Wal-Mart, I hate Wal-Mart and refuse to shop there, to look for 5W40 Truck and SUV and they didn't have 0w40 either. The explanation that I got from them is that the Mobil refinery was damaged during hurricane Katrina and that their production was severly limited, so they were only producing the most common weights for the time being.

I ended up going to a fleet and farm supply and found a gallon of Delvac1 5w40 for $24. I heard it was the same as Truck & SUV so used it, so far no problems.
