We have had a dishwasher for years and mold happens. It is dark and wet and warm, the three things required to grow mold. To get rid of it, good old fashioned bleach kills mold instantly. It may not always get rid of the stain, but it will kill the mold.
After that, try to leave your dishwasher door cracked some so that it will dry out completely and let the thing use the dry mode. Your manual will recommend not using the dry mode to save energy, but if you don't crack open the door to let the moisture evaporate, mold grows. Keeping it as dry as possible will keep the mold down.
