The front of the t.v. has a "line in" input for an RCA plug, video and audio (probably for video games), so I put the DVD video feed directly into that, and it worked perfectly, color is back and video is fine. Now I just have to hit the button on the remote to get to the "line" input instead of cable.
There were some weird outputs and switches on the back of the DVD player, wonder why?
Based on that I'm assuming something is wrong with the RF modulator. DVD's still sound great through the stereo, so I'm just going to leave it for now.
Thanks for tips.
Mike
