I'm 73 years old and still fairly activer mentally and physically. Anew Best Western Motel just opened in our town, (At which Frankensaab stayed when he bought my 70 Model 96,) and which I applied for a job as night clerk. The lady who hired me said she wanted me to come in and work nights to start. The first night she remarked that my white shirt had a spot on it. I told her, that I do a lot of mechanic work, but that I would be sure to wear a clean one with tie the next day. Which I did. She seemed to be "coming on to me", and I wasnt sure if it was my imagination or what so I was careful not to seem other than respectful and opened doors for her and was as polite as possible. The nest night, she showed me the hotel computer and told me I should not read email, I assured her I would not.
She then left me alone to go upstairs to program the door locks on 2nd floor, and I began familiarizing myself with the proprietary programs for the motel, and when I finished that I looked up the home page of the Best Western Chain, and bookmarked it. then I changed the Screen saver just to see how Windows XP worked, (my first introduction to it).
When she came back downstairs, she hit the ceiling, and told me I had disobeyed her rules, and to put the original screensaver back on, and to take the book marks off, which I did. The next day I had off, but I was
looking at a last years calendar which I had neglected to change, and came in bright eyed and bushy tailed for work, chagrined when I found out I was a day early, The long nights had thrown my internal clock off. The next day when I was supposed to come in she phoned me about 4 hour before and said to come on down she could not use me any more. I told her I was busy and would come down as soon as I could. My question is What should I do or say, at the firing to protect myself against this female predator.
