You can coat concrete with epoxy products of varying quality, but it is difficult to make them abrasion resistant. I don't think you would like the appearance after some use outdoors. The best thing you can do is seal the concrete with a penetrating sealer which will increase it's resistance to the chloride ions that are chewing it up. Downside is that it is far better to do that when the concrete is fairly new and unblemished. Sealer will not cover any existing damage - just make further damage less likely. I suspect you have already figured that out.
