There are Asian Saab fans. Definately fewer than BMW, Mercedes,Lexus crowd, but Saab is a much smaller company than them. I have seen many hardcore fans in Korea. They have a very active club and many of them are pretty wealthy already to own an import, they tend to go far in modifying. In US though, Saab presence hasn't been prominent. People needs to have a very good reason to go to Saab dealer, like a family member or freind driving a saab. New immigrants have too many other things to worry about than driving a car that is truly meant for them. But, their children will be different seeing all the choices and wanting to explore them. I think there is a stronger correlation between buying a Saab and the level of education than the Asian thing. I'm curious how many well educated Asians still only shop the premier brands. I consider myself an educated Asian, and I explored options before buying and I bought a Saab.
