The weather in Seattle area really only requires a decent rain tire, except for the couple weeks a year when the temperature drops to freezing. Sometimes there are a few inches of snow, but unsually there is just a few mornings of frost and black ice. Those are the two weeks you need something other than a performance rain tire. For most performance rain tires, the rubber loses all grip at temperatures below say 35F. The rubber just gets too hard to provide reliable traction.
I have Pirelli P-Zero Nero M+S on my NG900 and the factory Pirelli P6 Four-Seasons on the Aero. The Nero M+S is a better tire in general, but both do fine in the weather here.
