That should be tax exempt in Mass.
According to the instructions for Line 13, Schedule Y of the Mass individual income tax return, a pension from another state is deducted from Federal income on the Mass return if that other state does not tax a similar pension from Mass. Since New Hampshire has no income tax, it does not tax Mass pensions, therefore the NH pension should be exempt in MA. More information in the link below.
