hello again

i think i come around once a year anymore...good to see the boards doin so well.

so back where i grew up in the midwest you could take a comm. edu class about basic car mechanics for a decent price and schedule for adults that are working in the day....but here in nyc i havent seen or heard or found anything of the sort. if i dont want to spend 17grand!!! at apex tech school because its more of something to do for self sufficiency/knowledge/hobby than career what should i do and where can i go???????

any leads, suggestions, or anything would be much appreciated. thank ya.
