I would imagine there are other factors as well:

- Spring has sprung. As the weather turns as do thoughts of outdoor activities as well as convertibles. A Jeep fits the bill quite nicely.

- Out with the old, in with the new. The new Wrangler is due in showrooms soon (I guess if you consider this fall "soon"). Time to make room for the new model.

For me, I'll be selling my Jeep to make some much needed room in the garage. Plus the fact we didn't really use it as much as we thought we would. As far as resale, it's not that bad, in fact, it enjoys pretty good resale - probably better than my fuel efficient Saab. The Wrangler is crude, rugged, and drives terribly; and there in lies the appeal.
