Gary Stottler and I were up in Sterling Heights, Michigan, where GM houses it's Heritage Fleet > 700+ cars > one of's, first of's, last of's, prototypes. You name it, it was most likely in one of the three warehouses we visited.

We had time to kill, so they let us wander around and pull covers on any car we were interested in, so of course we concentrated on their collection of Saabs(which all had custom made blue covers with the Saab logo stitched on). That Sonett 1 just happened to be one of the Saabs we pulled the cover on and fondled the sheet metal.

Pictures below are not mine, but were sent to me by Gary from one of his previous visits(he's a GM employee). You can also see John Moss in one of the pictures.
