Must be different there; must be nice. You see around here people don't pay attention. People start to change lanes when your along side them and can't possibly brake or accelerate fast enough to get clear. You need to tell them to watch out. Then there are the SUVs that are just sort of straying back and forth over the centerline often while the driver yaps on the phone. To avoid swaping paint you need to get their attention. Both situations that require both horn and hands on the wheel to steer.
Pedestrians on the other hand are on their own. Nobody is going to honk at them unless it is to scare the crap out of them; and to do that people just prefer to make it like they are going to run the pedestrian down if they don't move their butt. Some people really do seem to speed up when there is a pedestrian in the cross walk.
