Did I say that loud enough ? Do not under any circumstances buy a Toshiba. I can relate my whole story if you want...but the short story is that I have had three motherboards in a year. It has spent months in the shop. Each time it goes in, it takes over month to get it back out because each time Toshiba has sent two DOA motherboards before sending one that works. They send crappy repaired mobo's instead of new ones.
It's so bad that when you call Toshiba and complain that it's unfit for sale, they tell you about the class action suit against them for about 20 of their models and suggest that you wait for resolution of that. Customer Service is (of course) off shore and unwilling to do anything beyond the standard warranty even though their machines are horrible.
I would not buy another Toshiba - ever.
