I had a Gislaved Nordfrost with a bad belt, but the entire set was close to worn out so I didn't do anything. If you're asking about warranties I don't really have experience.
Mine felt out of balance, but it balanced OK on machines. No visible out-of-round (at first). Even following with another car & watching carefully, I couldn't see anything. It got worse & worse, until finally the out-of-round condition was visible when spinning the wheel. At about the same time, the steel wires from a belt began poking thru the shoulder of the tread.
If yours had gone the same way, I'm sure you would have noticed the out-of-balance feeling.
