i know that fatigue well Posted by vvack0matic [Email] (#1443) [Profile/Gallery] (more from vvack0matic) on Sat, 24 Jun 2006 09:47:57 In Reply to: Many Sleepy Motorists Keep on Driving, JohnA [Profile/Gallery] , Fri, 23 Jun 2006 19:29:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
i understand why it is that no one wants to pull over,
after driving for 22 hrs or driving all day then into night when it gets to be around 2 to 5 o-clock (am) i start to see triple of everything, the road, cars that pass, the ramp to pull off, it is a nightmare. the problem is when your just sitting there driving it takes no effort to just keep sitting there even though you know theres no way that you can go on, the thought of having to lift you foot to apply the break to turn into a rest area for a few hrs, is work in itself. most of the time your forced to get gas.
being this tired theres no way anyone wants to deal with a hotel attendant, it is sad that people and i fall under the fatigue this bad, im just greatfull there where rest areas, when this happend,
i found myself saying i know i shouldnt drive but ill pull into the next rest area and get about a hour or two, sad thing is the mental mind set will have (me) at lest wait till then.
i just make plans now to pull over with in 19 to 20 hrs that is if the fatigue hasnt hit buy then.
