We just bought an LG at HD too, after looking at several other brands. It has all the features we wanted, it is very quiet, and does the job well. The one thing we noticed on some other brands was that when connected directly to a drain the water still went into a container and the drain was on the side, so there would always be a gallon or so of water sitting inside. Made no sense to me. Be aware with the LG and some others, the LG they had at Best Buy was a regular dehumidifier, the LG at Home Depot was made to operate at lower temps, as in a basement. The model we got is LHD45SEL. One of the L's is the low temp, I think the last one. The only disadvantage of this one is that the vents and hose come out the back rather than the side so it can't go up against a wall, but that didn't matter to us. It's Energy Star rated, I would recommend it :-)
