I think juicers are a throw away item. I first owned a Champion. It was pretty heavy duty and somehat expensive. It lasted maybe 5 years and then the motor went bad. It was very messy and you did have to cut veggies up. I didn't want to ship it to get it fixed so I bought a Juiceman. The Juiceman is cheaper and lighter weight. I liked it ok. It lasted maybe three years before the electronics went bad. It wasn't as messy as the Champion. I replaced that with the Jack LaLane. I have probably had it about 6 months now. It seems to live up to it's claim of being 30% more efficient. You also do not have to cut up veggies as much. It is also quieter and neater than the Juiceman or the Champion. You also get a replacement grinding disk with it, which I thnk is good. I haven't had to replace it yet though. I don't know how long it will last. We pretty much juice twice a week.
