I called my doctor to schedule a health check up about a month ago.
September was the earliest he could see me, I'm glad it was not an emergency, maybe he then would have been able to squeeze me in, in August. ;O).
Most shops do whatever they can to please every paying customer but sometimes we just gets overwhelmed with broken down cars and we have to finish the load of "one hour" jobs that was either brought in on towtrucks earlier on or scheduled customers.
Cars coming in on a tow truck just have to wait while I service the customer cars that scheduled an appoitment.
If you don't have any close ties to that shop or has been happy with their earlier work, by all means, tow it to someone else.
Sometimes you might even find a better shop by doing that.
