. . . if you're old enough to rememeber the days of the black & white containers of just about everything that was labeled "Generic." I particularly liked the "BEER" containers - black lettering on white paint. It changed by quarter of the year. Getting the Carling was pretty much the pits, but when your ead the fine print & found it came from the Pearl brewery in Texas, it was at worst OK.
So what I'm getting at is that WalMart does not refine oil. Someone else does, WalMart buys it in large quantities to label with their own mark & charges less. Maybe in the small print on the jug . . .
