although in reality the NRVh would have been fine. Even the i3.
They are no dooubt fine... Nokian does not make any bad tires. They look like they will be fine in the rain and probably wear well, too. Nokian promotes them as a mid-size sedan tire, which means they don't have a performance orientation.
I think you will probably give up some traction at higher speeds with the i3, but if you always drive moderately it probably won't matter. I can tell you that the NRV series are astounding in the rain. It's like the road isn't wet. And in the dry they are excellent but don't have the harshness of a stickier and more expensive high performance tire. The ride is good and the noise is low. Do check prices. I paid $500 including mount, balance stems and disposal. Flats fixed free. Future balance and rotation free.
Hard to wrong with Nokian.
