No matter how much you hate to paint, I hate it more. I'm good at it, but I'd rather chew on razor blades than paint. Some years ago, I was looking for an easier way to paint the interior and the Wagner seemed like a good idea. About halfway through the first room, I was thrilled with the way the Wagner cut the time down to a fraction of the time that a brush and roller would have taken. Then, I hear my wife telling me to stop, then she yelled, and finally she screamed. The mist that the sprayer created settled throughout the house...on the piano, knick-knacks, into the kitchen, etc, rooms that were far away from the room that I started spraying. Fortunately, it was latex, so the stuff wiped off just like dust, but we were dusting for days. After half a room, I went back to the brush & roller. I figured I'd keep the sprayer for outside work, but the house is brick and the trim is capped in aluminum, so I returned it I've since read that some of these sprayers have been redesigned to be high volume, low pressure devices (HVLP sprayers). Discuss it with the guy at the hardware store. Sometimes, it just doesn't pay to reinvent the wheel.
