I had a '58 that had the so-called idiot sticks. It was a grey mkt model w/ no front or rear turn signals, no bumper overriders, no safety glass anywhere (tempered glass), bulb-type headlights, and km speedo/odo. They were the only type one could easily get in the Detroit area at that time. The dlr, Leo Adler, went over to Germany and bought them from people on the street and shipped them back. I've forgotten how much they were, but it was not a lot more than the conventional US-bound edition. DKH
