Some of the restaurants are closed on Sundays and some may be closed for the season.
Do the Park Loop, park at Sand Beach and walk the path down to Thunder Hole a short walk, stop at Otter Cliff for a spectacular view and drive up Cadillac Mountain for the sunset if the weather is clear. While you are in the park have lunch at the Jordan Pond House and if it's nice sit out on the lawn. Be sure to have their popovers, and get some chowder and tea.
Thule Gardens is a neat respite but it will depend the weather if anything is still growing in the gardens.
If you have time for a little hiking, the Bubble Rock hike is fairly short (an hour)with some elevation gain for a greqat view. A longer hike with breathtaking views is the Gorham Mountain hike. We usually park at Sand Beach and hike alongside the road past Thunder Hole, cross the road and pickup the Gorham Mountain Trail and end the descent back at SandBeach. It can easily be done in two hours. Pick up a trail guide at the visitors center. It makes lunch tasty. We either go to the Jordan Pond house or out to Beals after the hike.
Stewmans is a great place with good Maine atmosphere for a real lobster bake and a nice view on the water. It's in Bar Habor and you can get the whole deal...

If you just want no frills lobster at a picnic table go to Beals in Southwest Harbor.

It's right next to the Coast Guard Station and it's authentic and on the waterfront.
The Pier on the waterfront in Bar Harbor is a decent restaurant

The QuarterDeck is almost across from the Pier...

I don't know if any of the tourist boats are running but a sunset sail is a great experience if it's nice out.
Have a great time.
