This message is being sent to highlight some of the updates to the description of the Adirondack Saab Run this coming Saturday. The event description has been updated and we added info about meals. Also remember that we will be supporting a dealer's 2007 model year reception in Princeton, NJ on Thursday. I hear they put on a great party, so if you're able to make it, please come down. More details can be found on the nysoc.com home page.

5th Annual Adirondack Saab Run
Join us for a fun and scenic drive during peak foliage time in New York.
approximately 150 miles. We will drive around Lake George, up past Brant Lake, then along the Schroon River and Schroon Lake and finally driving through the High Peaks region. It will certainly be including the challenging climb up Hurricane Mountain Road, gaining approximately 1000 ft of elevation in 6 miles. The run is planned to last all day.

When is it?
Saturday October 19th, 2006
The run will depart at 10:00am SHARP from the Prospect Mountain Diner on Canada Street (State Route 9) in Lake George and finish up around 4:30pm The ending place is to be determined Please try to arrive between 8:30am & 9:30am. There will be a mandatory drivers meeting at 9:40am. Bring an FRS radio if you can.

What does it cost?
Nothing!!! Zilch!!! Zip!!! Nada!!! That's Right, Free!
(Meals not included)

Where will I eat??
We will be stopping for lunch in the Village of Schroon for about an hour for lunch. There are plenty of places to grab lunch. For dinner, we will be going to Nicola's in Lake Placid. We have arranged a fixed-price menu for $25 per person including tax & tip. The choices will be anything from their pasta menu or the wood-fired pizza menu including a choice of salad.
