You can use a small screwdriver to pry off the plastic cover (from the bottom upward) of the sunroof switch to expose the metal contacts underneath. You will probably find that the contact are carboned up, and you can clean then easily with some steel wool (brillo pad) or a small metal brush).
Regarding turning the motor shaft, I know that the 9000s have an allen wrench mounted on the plastic panel above the rear view mirror. Can't remember if the 900s have the same set up, but if there is a plastic panel, check underneath it for the wrench. Alternatively get an assortment of allen wrenches to see which one will fit the motor shaft.
