The last I heard the PS3 was going to sell for 500 bucks for the stripped down version and 600 for the full deal. I figure it will be like buying a computer, ie you need to go ahead and buy the extra memory. So, if you want a good functioning machine, you will need to buy the 600 dollar unit. I think that is ridiculous price to pay for a game machine. I will most likely buy the Wii, it is apparently going to have lots of 3rd party support so the games will be there to play and you can download any of the games from the past 20 years so why not?

I just think 600 bucks is too much to pay and I understand the games are gonig to start at 60 to 70 bucks a piece!!!
