Does anyone know the pros and cons associated with the various gaming systems? We're probably going to buy a system for our kids and haven't a clue where to start, or whether it even matters much. The ground rules are we're not spending a gazillion dollars so the new PSP3 is out, but at the same time we don't want an inferior product or something that will be obsolete in the short term, either because the "cool" games will no longer be available or the graphics/quality will be noticeably lacking as compared to other products. The system will be used primarily by kids aged 3-9 and if we assume a system lasts 3-5 years they'd be . . . well, you know the math. Of course, I *could* imagine their father comandeering the baseball and football games, but he's not especially picky about this stuff as the last system he had was the original Nintendo back when people played Donkey Kong and Duck Hunt.
Thanks in advance.
