You just skip the e and spell it Lutfisk.
I don't know if the e is Norwegian spelling or if it came around to make it easier for English speaking people to pronounce it.
I haven't tasted it since I left Sweden 15 years ago.
It can be a little bit similar to Monk fish (Marulk in Swedish) in texture and taste depending on how you prepare the Monk fish.
One correction from my first post, Christer got choosen by ESA in 1992 (14 years ago) being the first Swedish Astronaut and he was in Russia for a couple of years during the 90s preparing to go up to MIR in 95 but was bumped for his German ESA colleague Thomas Reiter, Thomas Reiter which is now being replaced on the space station by Sunita Williams.
