Just for giggles, I'm going to experiment with different methods of "enclosures". As limited as my knowledge is with speaker design, I seem to recall that some are (as you guys said) for total enclosure(ported), some for partial(in-wall/ceiling, solid back w/permeable sides ) and some, such as rear-deck car speakers,open enclosure types.
