Hello guys........
I just have few questions regarding living in England.
The thing is that i will start working for one of the european airlines in April, and probably will live near Stansted Airport.I'm currently living in New York.
And what i wanted to know is if 1200 pounds(or more-for starters)a month will be enough for me to survive .I mean i went to England for a week and i have a "slight" idea of what the cost of living is ,but there are things i'm not really sure and aware of(obviously).Like how much are the apartments, how often do you pay your rent(monthly, weekly),how about the bills, are they high(it sounds stupid-yeah i know),the taxes, all the works.
I know these questiones are kind of general, but it will do if anybody is willing to give me some info and advices. Is 1200 pounds a relatively good salary ,or it is really not that much.I know i know people make a lot more. The thing is that after 11 years of living in New York i want to try Europe(England for that matter),being 25 years old i would think that earning 1200 pounds isn't that bad,or maybe it is.It is a huge decision for me to move back to Europe, but hey i really want to try and also i need to move for a personal reason. So if anybody is willing to give me some input,i would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you very much in advance.
Marcin
