This site has been a great help.
I'm a lurker - so I thought I'd say hello!
When my viggen is working - its a blast...but alas, Sometimes I feel like I'm on board a sinking ship.
63k in miles.
the wheels are bent so bad that the tires didn't hold air anymore (just replaced all 4 of them)
my very expensive aftermarket Quartermaster clutch went after 15,000 miles
the purge valve ticks annoyingly (I'll fix that soon enough)
I have no turbo boost anymore, and I had misfires CES light (dI problem perhaps...who knows)
there are no good saab mechanics it seems in my area - they all just make things worse sadly, and charge a lot to do so. (Milwaukee - anyone know anyone thats good here?)
the air bag warning lights stay on all the time now - and they can't clear them it seems.
every time i get the rear bumper fixed - it gets hit again -- each time thats 2000k...
I think I need new struts as well - and all the little bushings and such that go along with that...
As I pay for things to be fixed, more things go wrong... Its very frustrating.
I feel like Tom Hanks in "The Money Pit" sometimes. And its embarassing to have to defend the coolness of my car vs. how often its broken.
The saddest thing of all -- I still love the car and I don't know why.
I needed to vent, I'm done now.
all suggestions are welcome -- any ideas, let me know.
