"Masking is sloppy." I once looked at a used C900T that had a "new paint job." Yeah, the whole thing did, including undercarriage, door seals, window trim, exhaust, and bits of the bumpers. It was, as I was told, "a very nice paint job." It was, as I observed, an insult to the terms "paint job" and "nice". I was told it was Maaco. He also told me he spent $200.00 on it. Maybe that other $400.00 (regular price) is spent on masking tape.
I'd skip a cheap paint job. I know I'd rather buy a car that hasn't been painted over one that had been painted poorly.
