glad you had a good time. I lived in Rota, which is on the coast south of Sevilla for about 4 years and visited most of the same places you did. Hopefully you got to drive the ruta de los blancos pueblos (I lived there but my Spanish isn't that good) from Grandada down towards Jerez. Its a really pretty road with tons of white villages on the hills.
Now I'm in Germany and bought myself a tom tom, which is a GPS that has all of Europe and US on the internal hard drive, plus you can download updates for it. So far its been really nice since I would have gotten lost a million times without it. I don't know how I got by in Spain without one back in the mid 90s. Luckily I had a good map and the towns aren't that big. For Madrid we just took the train up and used the metro and taxis everywhere. I think Sevilla was the biggest town we drove into.
