Folding mirrors don't always help

I feel your pain. A few months back our kids started driving, we gave them our old Passport. One day I let my son take my Saab which sits in the garage, and he had never backed out of the garage, so my wife said she would guide him out. Next thing I know my daughter runs in the house yelling that my son had ripped the mirror off the car, which he pretty much did. So folding mirrors unfortunately fold in one direction.
It's a real PIA to replace those things if you do it yourself. but I wasn't too hard on my kid, I remember when I was a teenager and I used to love to speed my motorcycle down my parents long driveway and lock the brakes and skid to a halt before the garage door. One day i miscalculated and the front wheel of the bike crashed through the wooden garage door, oops.
