You can ask our wonderful court system that question Posted by Saabpilot [Email] (#134) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Saabpilot) on Fri, 9 Feb 2007 03:58:15 In Reply to: How can you not have any recourse?, Oscar, Thu, 8 Feb 2007 21:12:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
There was a class action suit, but the bankruptcy court nullified it and allowed the company to continue to operate for all policyholders who had policy dates after a certain date. It was a classic case of getting royally screwed and a classic example of what happens when people don't pay attention to the judges they elect. Yes, those of us caught up in it had absolutely no recourse whatsoever and we received letters from the court telling us so. I may as well have stacked up 1800 one dollar bills and lit them on fire and watch them burn!!
I would not have purchased an extended warranty with my "new" 2003 Saab 9-5 last month, had it not been backed by Saab.
