Most of the nicer hotels are clustered within one office park near the airport on the SW corner of town. Unfortunately, there are No, nada, zero restaurants within the professional office park that contains all the hotels!

Drive North on the loop and exit on 34th street (IIRC). Nothing remarkably special but you will find the usual assortment of national chain restaurants.

If you have some time to spare, drive an hour south to Bloomington IN, the home of Indiana University. Probably the second most beautiful college campus I have seen (after Univ of Miami, FL) and college towns are always great places for interesting restaurants/museums/intellectual diversions.

FYI - Cold beer can only be sold by licensed liquor stores in Indy. All beer sold in convenience stores will be warm.
