...with the DJ only coming during the main event. That will cut DJ time down to 2 hours.

For my youngest son's 1'st B-day, my cousin set up his DJ speakers and my niece selected an MP3 format based on time of the party and the mood we wanted at that time. When the clown came for entertainment they had their own music that they piped through the same system.

I have even seen people do this same MP3 thing for intimate weddings, sweet 16's of more than 200 people at some ritzy joints, and all day and night 40'th 50'th and 60'th B-day parties.

MP3 players and WAV players are easy to set up and format. If you want you can even create 2-5 CD's with music and pop them in when needed.
