Looks like we are pretty much in agreement except for the seeding. I have had much better luck in the fall.
The questions are;
1) Do you recommend mulching instead of bagging? I generally go back and forth but have never made up my mind.
2) What do you recommend for a lawn that has just had lots of pine trees removed? We have a section that was always sparse and needed lots of lime. Now that the bulk of the pine trees are cleared from the center, one faces the question of whether to put new topsoil down or to just treat the soil that is there. It seems to have a high clay content which has me leaning towards new topsoil.
