...so, you make your choice based on volume or aerodynamics. You should note that at higher speed you will feel as if there is a sail on top of the car, pushing you this way and that. It can be unnerving, especially in windy areas and when driving alongside a tractor trailer at highway speed.
I don't trust the locks on my Sears, so I always throw 2 straps around it to make sure it stays closed. Seems to do the trick at 75MPH, even in windy areas.
Currently, I drive an SUV on long vacations so aerodynamics are less of a concern. When I drove my C900 cross country I felt uncomfortable when passing cars on the 75MPH highways with the Sears.
