Then the guy who came to fix my chimney today said he knew the dude with the 'Vette slightly... had played pool with him at a local watering hole and had a couple beers with him a week or so ago.

He said the guy was really into how fast his Corvette was and he figured the guy was pretty reckless. Also figures the guy was possibly drunk when he was stopped by the cops just before he caused all these accidents. He didn't know the guy had a "history" with the police, though. Seems like the guy was a loose cannon. Don't know anything about the person with him.

I drive the road where this happened all the time. And you do see people out there doing some pretty dumb stuff. Not like this, though. Geez.
