I have manualy washed my two story colonial twice using the above equipment. Yeah, I know, I am a dinosaur and all my neighbors think I am crazy too.
You didn't say if the siding is painted wood clapboards, aluminum, or vinyl. Do you have only the normal dirt and mild mildew that accumulates with time? Or do you have major mildew problems on naturally weathering cedar/redwood?
Generally speaking, you do not want high pressure unless you are stripping paint off metal. I have sucessfully removed concrete wash from the asphalt street in front of our house, after it cured for 3 weeks, using a borrowed 1500PSI electric powerwasher. My brother-in-law ruined his wood deck by using a gasoline power washer at too high of setting, it blasted away the softer wood between the hard grain on the treated SYP decking, resulting in the need to completely replace all of the wood! A very expensive "Aw Sh**!"
Remember! The wall surfaces contain windows and doors that are not designed to withstand high water pressures. Excess pressure can result in ruined interior finishes and contents. Aluminum and vinyl siding are only designed to repell water falling from above, not being blasted from below. You can easily saturate the wall sheating if you are not carefull.
