hope you enjoy it! my wife and i moved back to boston about 4 years ago. we had been out in the seattle area for about 5.5 years and loved it. people complain about the rain, but i did not feel it was that big of a deal. a misty cool day is considered a day of rain, so you get used to it. plus, the clear sunny days are just incredible.
as far as indy shops, definitely hook up with the fellas at scanwest. i lived on the east side and still made the trip over to see them for help. rob is the owner, craig is the office guy and there are a host of good mechanics running around there. also might want to link up with the saab club of seattle. i belive it has grown since i was out there, but a good group of guys always willing to help out. i think you can find them online with a search of SCS or saab club of seattle.
otherwise, enjoy the move. if our family was not on the east coast, my wife and i would likely be moving out there again. good luck!
