A couple of years ago I discovered a program, actually it's much more than that, called ZONER. You can download it from http://www.zoner.com. it gives a full featured 30 day demo. Full featured. Everything works. It does *everything* you can possibly imagine. White balance, crop, reduce the density (what you are asking for), bring photos in from anything (camera, media stick, CD, etc), rename, bulk rename with tokens, color correction, edit photos, manage the whole lot, export (create CD's, slide show with or without visible controls), do slide shows on your computer too. Everyone I've told about this has done the 30 demo and ended up purchasing it. I researched about 20 programs for my 80 year old Dad and like this one the most. It has a *single* cockpit. very slick. Oh, you can also be looking at a picture and decide to email it from right there. Ever want to email a picture and try to find it later? I've only just scratched the surface, the above is about 15% of the things it can do. All from a single cockpit that looks much like windoes explorer. Sorry, only a windows version, no macs!
