Wobbly rearview mirror

I put an auto dimming/compass rearview mirror in my 9-2X. I believe the brand is Connelly. The mirror is securely fastened to the windshield but continues to annoyingly wobble and vibrate around while I’m driving. Where it is loose is where the mirror itself connects onto the shaft that connects it to the windshield. Does anyone know if there is a way to tighten up that ball joint?
