1920x1080 is a pretty high resolution, and you should be specific about what card you request. The onboard VGA that Dell uses on their systems (either Nvidia GeForce 6150 or Intel GMA 3100) will not handle that resolution. I would simply pick up either the ATI Radeon X1300 Pro or Nvidia GeForce 8600GT - Dell offers one of these on just about every system they sell. They are both overkill in terms of the speed they offer, but not terribly expensive and will work very well with that display.
The Nvidia is a dual-DVI output, and the ATI a DVI+VGA. I'd opt for the former, and use a common DVI->HDMI cable to connect it to the display, unless the display happens to have a DVI input. We use the 8600GT on a wide variety of displays here, and between Nvidia's tools and PowerStrip, we always get a good presentation. The nice thing about the dual digital output is we can run a pretty long HDMI cable to a small, local display and in dual-screen mode use the small display for "work" and the large display for "show," so our attendees always have a good experience and don't have to see us fiddling with the presentation.
