If the issue can't be demonstrated there is no issue to fix. You can't stay in business fixing customer's suspicions for free under warranty, though they be well articulated well intentioned complaints and suspicions.
This is the biggest area of customer dissatisfaction in the auto industry. The best practice service procedure when "we can't find the problem" requires that the service manager as well as the tech drive the car to try and verify the complaint.
Anders has some great advice about noise issues. I myself have spent many hours cocking my head, turning down radios, driving next to walls tying to duplicate phantom noised and squeaks. It's tough territory.
I find it interesting that you are sure it's a specific brake component. Sometimes it's better just to report the symptom and let the service department check it out rather than tell them what your sure the issue is.
