Broad range.... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 28 Feb 2008 18:09:54 In Reply to: mounting cost, brownie, Thu, 28 Feb 2008 15:12:53 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Locally I have found prices ranging from under $15/tire at small Mom & Pop tire stores to over $35/tire at "high-brow" specialty places (i.e. local Volvo Indy who masquerades as a Nokian tire store).
Tirerack also lists approved stores in your local area for mounting and balancing tires. The advantage of these stores is that they usually will accept drop shipments of tires/wheels for customers, meaning you don't need to take deliver at your home and then transport all the large parts to the shop.
If my old rim can be repaired I plan on keeping it as a spare for future similar damage.
