I finally relented and turn in my Nokia 6610 to get a T-mobile smart phone. So the last bit of freedom not being bothered with email is taken away from me. From now on there is no escape from the tentacles of corporate email 24/7. Of all the cell phones I went through over the years none I have skimmed over 10% of the capability. This one probably will not be an exception. So far I have not bothered to look at the user's manual just like every cell phone I ever used. Probably will never look at it as long as I own the phone.
There are a couple of features I do like. The first one is using a USB cable to charge the phone. I think this is really neat. Not only that, it synchronizes with my company exchange server mailbox if I have internet connection whereever I am. Other than that, the calculator, alarm clock and calendar are the only other features I used.
The network administrator handed me the phone after setting it up. He said there is an SD flash memory card in it. Where?
I don't know if I should just use one of those simple phones with all redundant features removed and having extra large character displays reserved for old geezers. What other important features of the phone I should be looking into?
