If you can't afford a new 2008 9-3 Turbo-X then my vote hands down is for a 2004 or 2005 9-5 Aero. While I am a fan of the 9-3SS I prefer the 9-5. I've read lots of horror stories with the 9-3SS up to 2005 or so. I've looked at 9-3's and the insides look extremely "plasticky." I have not driven one but I bet I would like the fact that it's smaller and more go-kart-ish, something I like in a car. But the quality isn't to par with the 9-5. The 2004/2005 9-5's are really nice. All the bugs are worked out with DIC, PCV stuff, etc... I also much prefer the looks of the Aero 9-5 with the cool front and rear bumpers and awesome 5-spoke rims.
I bet you're kickin' yourself for selling me your extra Euro-badge now. Good luck!
